“Stampfer’s Holdings is intensely personal. Forging, raising, and sculpting center her practice as much as her life as a mother. Resembling the devotion and patience of raising children, Stampfer nurtures her work much like a lineage. This archival library of forms is always in flux from generous experimentation. Rituals rooted in tradition are considered and weighed against new discoveries. Stampfer questions, how do you hold it and take it with you? Her work aspires to inform of future iterations and the connectivity between people.”
