My work, which is rooted in inspiration from the shapes and colors of nature, can be divided into metal and 3D printing. Nature, which is abstract and infinite, has all the answers as an inspiration for my work. Lines, shapes, spaces, colors, compositions, angles, lines of sight, fields of view, and so on, all come together to create a story. I think my work is similar. I like to explore and reinterpret the inspirations from natural forms, which in the end, brings all my pieces together into a bigger body of work. Seeing things from an aesthetic and practical perspective, I assess what I need to do and incorporate its function into the design.
If I must be inspired by something, there is no place like nature. It is what we are born into and where we will go back to. That’s why my belief in art isn’t “I am going to make something new and never seen before!” 3D printing is used to express smooth natural lines, and metal fabrication is used to express rough and inferior natural lines. I think the reason why many of my pieces have a blue tint, is the deep mesmerizing resonance that blue gives to an object. The infinite depth of the color blue can be said to finalize the story of the work. I would like to become an artist who continues to work to bring this and that, then edit them here and there, to propose a different and unique prompt.
